Cherished and beloved daughter, DeeAnna Catherine Walton, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on September 18, 1971, in Pierre, South Dakota, DeeAnna was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew her.
DeeAnna graduated from Hinkley High School and went on to lead a life filled with compassion for others, and especially animals. She was known for her love of shopping, which many said was her true calling. DeeAnna's enthusiasm for gambling in Black Hawk and Central City, as well as her enjoyment of dining out, brought joy to her life and to those around her.
DeeAnna made many wonderful friends and memories through Developmental Pathways and similar organizations. She touched many lives, and will always be remembered.
DeeAnna is survived by her mother, Julie A. Walton of Castle Rock, Colorado; her brother, Wayne Walton and his wife Krista, of Franktown, Colorado; as well as her nieces, Kara Walton and Summer Walton; and her nephews, Luke Walton and Nick Walton. DeeAnna was preceded in death by her father, James L. Walton.
