He was born in Montana on February 9, 1943 to Sarah and Leonard Edwards. He had 2 other brothers Wilbur Edwards older and Rey Edwards passing at 15 years old. Doyle graduated from Park County High School in Livingston Montana. and later received a Bachelor's Degree of Science from Adam State College.
He was married to Dixie Edwards on June 6, 1965. The couple spent 68 years together.
Doyle worked at Colorado Springs National Bank until his retirement.
And was the founder of Douglas County Bail Bonds owning and operating it for 25 years.
Doyle had a passion for sports, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. In high school he was the Montana State champion in Skeet Shooting. He was named to the All Star team in Basketball team 3 yrs in a row. He contributed successfully to his high school team which went on to be state champions With over 30 letters of acceptance to play under scholarship in college basketball he choose Adams State College. And even played in a semi pro team after graduation from college. He played baseball in high school too and was recruited by many colleges and was even asked to go pro in this sport. A amazing athlete without a doubt.
He is survived by his wife Dixie Edwards; son Eric Edwards; daughter Stacee Edwards; grandchildren: Kaylyn Sena, Cameron Edwards; brother Wilbur Edwards and his wife Dawn.
