Elaine Marie Phinney was born on September 10, 1952, in Winchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Tom and Mary Parsons. Elaine passed away peacefully at her home on February 3, 2026, at the age of 73.
Elaine graduated from Winchester High school and later received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Framingham State University. Elaine met Dennis Phinney and they were married on August 10, 1974 and celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. They were active members of St. Francis Catholic Parish is Castle Rock. Elaine will be remembered for her loving and giving heart and always meeting new friends.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Dennis; their children Dennis Phinney, Jr. and Timothy Phinney; her grandchildren Emerald, Dennis III, Brennan, Sonora, and Cohen; her sister Kathy and brother John.
A committal service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, located at 880 E Wolfensberger Rd, Castle Rock, Colorado, 80109, on February 9, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm, with Deacon Chris Kennedy officiating.
