I can't even begin to think how sad I am that you are now in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ up in heaven.  Being just a little more than 15 years younger than me, I feel as though you had a lot more to experience in life and you had a whole lifetime ahead of you living in the Rocky Mountain State.  You will always be remembered for your Christian following, athleticism, love for nature and the outdoors, and being the life of the party!  I'm sure we will meet again someday.  R.I.P, E.R.S.

Sometimes we are at a loss for words for what we live through acceptance is the hardest thing we have to do and realize that we have to go on and believe that our children are with God.

Emily Rose. You were light and positive energy amidst much chaos. It hurts to know we won't encounter each other again.  I regret not talking to you more.  Could I have changed anything? A conversation, a demand for a left turn instead of a right. Things are always less arbitrary in hindsight.  But there isn't a person who knew your smile who wouldn't want you here with us again. You were so nice to everyone. Just a lovely soul, trying to make your way.  Our hearts are heavy with this loss. May your family stay strong. Though there is darkness here, let the memory of Emily's light shine through it, and let love in. God bless.

I only met you once, at a bridal shower. You befriended me right away and were so funny. You lit up the room with your sweet smile and laugh. You will be missed Emily.

Seriously one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She could make any one laugh and was always fun to be around. So many good times At work, in high school and even after that. She always had an opinion and made sure everyone knew of it and never took any crap from anyone. Love you em, you will be missed

There is so many fun and huge memories in my life that only you and maybe Natalie (my sister) could understand. Us three had sooo much fun together, because we had you! Because you are so fun, so adventures, so loving, and so full of light. The adventures we had together, the laughs, the cries, the trouble we got into! September 25th a delicate Rose was born.
Mother and Father finally had their precious jewel to adorn.
Bright blue eyes slowly turned to deep brown.
Her smile and giggle could reverse any frown.
Golden curls began to grow and flow in the breeze.
Many hearts opened to her beauty with an easy turn of a key.

This delicate Rose continued to bloom
As God only knew she would become an angel so soon.
Sharp and feisty like the lattice of thorns on her stem.
Her strong spirit sparkled like a precious gem.

She lived and loved at lightning speed
Often slowing down to help someone in need.
Her leaves could wrap around you with the warmest embrace;
Letting go only to start another adventure in a new place.

Her petals drifted into the mountains out west.
Finding her place in nature is what she loved best.
Chasing her dreams without any fear.
When the west wind blows she will be here.

Our hearts are totally broken for the loss of our Beautiful Emmy and the heart ache George and Shelly are feeling.  Emmy's spirit and her beautiful smile will be so missed. Although Emily & I never met in person, I loved her through the stories & love her mother, my cousin, shared about her. Emily & I had spoke over the phone not long ago. I will never forget the positive energy that came over the lines. She was a beautiful young woman just starting out in life. As short as it was, her life was filled with love, joy & adventure. I have been told that God takes his Angels quickly. Now Emily is with all those who have gone before her & watching over those who will follow one day.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to George, Shelly & Derek, as well as all of Emily ' s family & friends. Rest in peace sweet Emily.

Emmy my little cousin (2 7's younger) always so full of energy, beauty, talent, curiosity, a lover of animals and nature and an awesome athlete.
