Frank was born on April 29,1968 in Glendale, Arizona, to Frank Garcia Jr. and Maria Garcia. He grew up in a very tight-knit and hard-working family. He was the oldest brother of six siblings who he loved spending time with and remained very close with throughout his life.
Frank relocated to Montrose, Colorado with his family his senior year of high school to work on their family’s cattle ranch. He attended Colorado State University, Fort Collins, where he studied Agricultural Business and met his wife, Natalie. Frank and Natalie married in 1995 and soon welcomed two beautiful daughters, Gabby and Lexi. Natalie and Frank loved each other very much and Frank was so proud of the family they built together. Throughout their childhood Frank enjoyed cheering Gabby and Lexi on at softball, coaching their basketball and soccer teams, and watching them excel in school and work. He was so proud of his daughters and loved watching them grow into the amazing young women they have become.
Frank began his career in banking before transitioning into mortgage brokerage, eventually founding his own mortgage company. Later, he became an independent contractor for the United States Postal Service, where he owned and managed multiple delivery routes in Douglas and Jefferson Counties.
With an unforgettable smile and a sharp sense of humor, he was everyone’s friend, always ready with a joke and eager to make others laugh and feel welcome. Fishing and camping trips and celebrating birthdays and holidays with family were times Frank always cherished. He was known for making delicious red chile enchiladas and homemade salsa. He was an avid outdoors enthusiast and fly fisherman and even had a passion for dirt biking and neighborhood cornhole tournaments, in which he was a fierce competitor.
