Frank William Thomsen a resident at Caley Ridge assisted-living, Englewood Colorado, went home to the loving arms of our Lord on September 3, 2014. He was a loving father to Suzanne Forkner and grandfather to Eric Forkner and Colin Forkner of Castle Rock, Colorado.
He is survived by his sister Judy and brother-in-law Ray Richard of Gwynn Michigan and brother John Thomsen and sister-in-law Shirley of Hartford, Wisconsin.
Frank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 28, 1938. He graduated from Bay View High School in 1956.
He was in the army for 2 years and left with an honorary discharge.
Visitation will be at Olinger Andrews Chapel in Castle Rock from 6 to 8 PM on September 8. Church viewing at holy cross Lutheran church in Highlands Ranch Colorado Tuesday, September 9, 12pm, Church service beginning at 1 PM. Mr. Thomsen will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill cemetery in Castle Rock following the funeral service, where he will receive honors for his military service to our country by the U.S. Army. Following the committal service, you are then invited to the Fowl Line in Castle Rock to celebrate Frank's life.
