She is missed by her loyal beagle, Belle.
Gerry was born in Harvey, Illinois to Theophil and Genevieve (Rzab) Kysiak and met Robert at Thornton High School. They both attended DePaul University where she earned a B.S. Marketing degree. She and Bob shared 57 years of marriage and lived in Harvey, Dolton, South Holland, Olympia Fields and Chicago, Illinois as well as EagleVail, Edwards and Castle Rock, Colorado. She worked for the Paper Mate Pen Company, Red Carpet Travel and Beaver Creek Associates, and volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader and program director. Gerry will be remembered most for her love of her family which she exhibited daily and during celebrations, holidays and birthdays. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends throughout the United States and Europe and gathered often with them in the Colorado mountains and on the beaches of Maui. Everyone was welcome and her home was filled with warm hospitality and the sweet sound of laughter. As she aged, Gerry taught us how to grow with dignity, humor and kindness; and when the good Lord finally called, how to meet Him with courage and faith in the promise of what lies ahead.
