Gregory Scott Holman

Gregory is survived by his mother, Wanda Holman; his Brother Eric Holman (Heather); his sister Christina Addison; his niece Kaylee Holman; his nephew Austin Hammonds; his niece Elissa Hammonds; his niece Jonah (Emily) Hammonds; his niece Olivia Addison; his nephew Aidan Addison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Gregory is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Holman.

Gregory moved to Colorado in 1987 and graduated from William Smith High School in Aurora, Colorado, in 1994. He played football at Black Hills State University, attended Normandale Community College near Minneapolis, and received a Kinesiology and Business degree from Western Colorado University in 2002. After graduation, he moved back to Aurora, stayed with his brother and sister-in-law, worked as a house painter, purchased a camper van, and moved to South Lake Tahoe in the fall of 2002. He lived in the van for a while and eventually found his place in the timeshare industry, where he was immensely respected and successful. In August of last year, he returned to Colorado to be with family.

His time in Tahoe was spent on many adventures with friends. Gregory was an outdoor lover and was always up for an adventure. You could find him on the lake in his boat during the summer and on the mountain snowboarding or riding his snow bike in the winter. When the weather was great, he was on his motorcycle.

Gregory had countless adventures with friends. He loved to travel and explore the world. In the Winter of 2023, he went to Japan to snowboard. He called this a “trip of a lifetime.” Some would best describe Gregory as a World Traveler and someone who never met a stranger. Gregory will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory live on in the many adventures of his family and friends.

A celebration of life for Gregory will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, followed by a lite reception from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
