Born Jane Louise Sinning on January 20, 1930 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by parents Leroy and Olive Sinning, one brother Leroy “Butch” Sinning, Husband Arthur Warnier (married 47 years), and son Robert Eugene (age 55.)
The first three years of my life I lived on a very small island in Manitowish Wisconsin where my Grandparents had a resort. At that time my dad, a carpenter, made $12.00 a week. I went to a 1 room grade school with 4-6 kids per grade. In high school there were 24 kids in my class. In high school I played the tenor saxophone and won first place in a solo competition. Also while in high school I met Elizabeth Taylor, she was filming National Velvet and ran around with one of my classmates. I also shook hands with Dwight D. Eisenhower. He came to Minocqua with his buddies every summer to Muskie fish. I married my High school sweetheart Arthur Warnier on April 23, 1949 in Bensenville, Illinois. Our first car was a 1937 Ford. We had four wonderful children, Robert, Sherry, Gail and Dennis. Have four grandchildren, Cindi, Crystal, Nicholas and Dylan. Have two great twin granddaughters, Chloe and Anabella and a great grandson, Eli. One sister Joyce Kivela, one sister in law, Jean Drake and 2 great son-in-laws, Ron & Gary.
Love you all,
Mom
