Jeffrey Edward Binnie was born in Schaumburg, Illinois on March 16, 1966 to Ralph and Marclaire Binnie. He already had three older brothers: Norman, George, and Donald. Five years later his sister Julie was born.
In 1978, the family moved from Illinois to Sheridan, Colorado and then in 1980 to Castle Rock.
Jeff went to and graduated from high school at Douglas County High School where he met a group of lifelong friends: Dolby, Steve, Smicklas, Brad Hindman, Jim, and Tim Stanovich, who all became like brothers to Jeff.
Jeff met his wife Jane (Jamie) while working at Corporate Express in Northglenn in 2001. They fell in love in 2003 and were married at Jeff and Kim Dolby's home in 2005.
Jeff and Jamie had 20 years of marriage. They lived for four years in Littleton, Colorado, and spent the last 16 years in their home in Parker.
Jeff loved the Philadelphia Eagles and a few other sports teams. He loved guitars, movies, jokes, and sarcasm - especially his own.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Olinger Andrews funeral home in Castle Rock, Colorado. For anyone attending, the family requests for you to please wear your favorite team's apparel. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to either the American Diabetes Association or Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
