

Judith "Judy" Ann Touloumis, a compassionate, beloved, selfless, and kind-hearted woman, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 30, 1942, in Elmhurst, IL, Judy grew up in Lombard, IL, under the loving care of her parents, Walter and Catherine. She graduated from Glenbard West in 1960 and pursued higher education in Illinois, where she eventually earned her Master’s degree.
Judy dedicated her career to nursing, specializing in infectious diseases and home health. She concluded her professional journey with a fulfilling tenure at the VA Lakeside in Chicago, IL. In retirement, she continued to contribute her skills by working with her sons in their startup business as a tech support engineer.
In 1968, Judy married George in Ellasona, Greece, George's place of origin. Together, they raised two sons in Chicago, IL, where they spent several decades near family and their close knit Greek community. Judy is survived by her Son Alexi (Fernanda) and Stathy (Luciana) and Alexi’s three children: Kalle (Michael), Ava and Oliver. Judy's grandkids were the center of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth in their hearts.
Judy had a passion for reading, particularly spiritual and religious books due to her unwavering faith, and was an active member of book clubs. Her love for literature was evident in her extensive personal library, which overflowed into every room of her home. She also cherished her cavachon dogs, held a dream of witnessing the first woman president, and had a fondness for science fiction. Additionally, she enjoyed collecting rocks shaped like hearts and angels.
Her commitment to community was reflected in her participation in a weekly mahjong group, involvement in a book club, and engagement with the Castle Rock Seniors Activities Center. Judy was a generous supporter of various charities, including those focused on animals, veterans, and children's hospitals.
A heartfelt thanks is extended to all her family and friends for the cherished memories created with Judy. There are too many to name but it in no way diminishes the love she had for you or the gratitude we have for your being a part of her life. She was a resident of Castle Rock, Colorado, where she made a lasting impact on those whose lives she touched.
