Charlie, Bunk, Dad, Pop Pop, & Boomer were just a few of the nicknames that he was known as. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, neighbor, and friend that loved to have a lot of fun and always stayed active and busy.
He loved working on his own cars, his home and yard on Newburg Ave., considered a DIY kind of guy and was so proud of the big home he renovated from three apartments. He worked hard and played just as hard. You could always find Charlie planning the next party, dance, dinner, or trip for his Family and Friends. “Good Times” Charlie wanted everyone to have fun, laugh, and be happy. He was as silly as they come and loved being “center stage”.
He loved to travel and had a passion for bluegrass, polka music and dancing. He loved to drink his Natty Boh’s while watching the Orioles and Ravens games. He also joined Amhranai Na Gaeilge, The Irishman’s Chorale, held various positions within the organization for 15 years and assisted in the making of 3 music CD’s. However, his habit of having an Irish Coffee after dinner started long before he joined the group. He loved to take pictures and has numerous photos and photo albums showcasing his life’s journey.
