John William Ritter passed away on November 1, 2021 at home in Halethorpe, Maryland, after a long illness. John was the beloved husband of Susan Herring Ritter, father of Laurie Ann Ritter, and grandfather of Bentlee Liem Sauer. He is survived by a sister, Martha Lee Kimball, and a brother, Andrew Paul Ritter.
John was born June 19, 1952 and raised in Catonsville, Maryland. He served in the Navy from 1975-1978, then went on to have a career as a master plumber in the Baltimore Area, retiring in 2021.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 5 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
