Dear Alex and Rachel, Mother and Daddy adored Nancy, as did we all. So dear, kind, and wonderful. She will be sorely missed. The Lynne family sends prayers, sympathy, and love!

We were so terribly stunned and saddened by Nancy’s sudden passing. She was such a delight ― smiling, friendly, warm, considerate, helpful (newspaper), generous (products from Maine) ― to meet by chance in the hallway or out front. Suwanee wishes Nancy was still with us so they could enjoy Thai food together again and share their experiences as teachers. We will miss her always and keep her, and Alec and Rachel, in our prayers during this sad and difficult time.



Looking at all of these photos makes realize what a great smile she had- such a beautiful human being, inside and out.  I wish that I had known her better. My heart breaks for Rachel and Uncle Alex, who I know miss her so much.  

Ms. Martinez and I usually arrive to work about the same time; we often conversed and joked about that. The morning of March 3, she stayed in her car a little longer, so we didn't greet each other. I thought nothing of it until Friday.  She was a good, kind, jovial, humble being, her presence will live on, she will be missed.

The morning of March 5, she stayed in her car a little longer than usual and we didn't correspond. I thought nothing of it until Friday morning after hearing. Condolence to the family, she will be missed. 

Mrs. Martinez was a wonderful co-worker and associate. I spoke to her that morning because I forgotten to tell her I was out sick. She was always understand and I told her I would see her on Wednesday. Never did I thought I would never see her again. She was very helpful, sweet, understanding, caring, and an all around genuine individual with good hummar. Her welcoming smile and talks kept me at peace during my time at Deer Park She will be missed.   My thoughts and prayers go out to the Martinez family with deepest sympathy and condolences.  

Mrs. Martinez will be missed. Her kindness and dedication to the Deer Park Middle Magnet School community positively impacted so many lives. We are all better educators because of Mrs. Martinez. 

Thank you for being such a positive light and sweet soul. Your spirit will be missed. Thank you for giving so much to so many. You were a true blessing and will be deeply missed.

Nancy was a super splendid person!  Nancy ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word for everyone, no matter what the circumstances might be.  She was extraordinarily generous with her time, often staying into the evening to finish setting up for standardized testing or science labs.   

I've been a neighbor of Nancy, Alex and Rachel for many years and feel this loss so deeply.  While the quantity of time I spent in Nancy's company was often limited to passing encounters in the hallway or digging out snow-covered vehicles in the parking lot, (which she was always ready to help with!), the quality of each and every minute I spent with her was a gift.  She always asked about my furry companions and generously listened to me ramble about their latest antics, and I felt her genuine sympathy when they passed on.  Nancy was kind, and warm, and a lovely spirit and I will miss the chance encounters with her that always made my day a little brighter.  

Alex and Rachel, so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nancy was one of the sweetest people I knew and a major part of the Deer Park family. She will truly be missed. 

Nancy , Alex and Rachel have been our dear neighbors for 2 decades.  Being neighbors that long,  they have become like family.  Nancy made a difference with her generous ability to pitch in and help where needed.  We will miss her smile.  She has left a big hole in our world. We continue to keep Alex and Rachel in our prayers , and look forward to our continued friendship.

Nancy was a sweet, caring neighbor and friend. She was always eager to lend a helping hand, share a smile or dig her neighbors out after each snowstorm!  As a long time neighbor in our building, we grew to feel more like a family.  We enjoyed brief hellos and good-byes in the hallway, commiserated about teaching, shared laughs and tears and looked out for each other. I always was glad to know that she, Alex and Rachel kept an eye out for my mom when I was not home.  I will miss welcoming her home from school,on the evenings when I would be walking in the hall after dinner.  We shared many adventures in our building and came together to give each other strength when it was needed. I will certainly miss our talks and her lovely smile. I know she touched the hearts of so many personally and professionally.  May her memory always be for a blessing
 I pray that Alex and Rachel will  be strengthened knowing that so many cherished their friendship with her and may she rest in peace.
