To Dot, Gary, Steve and your families,
We were saddened to learn of Ray's death.  Our prayers and sympathies are with you and your families.  We could not help reflect back on our time together as young families living in the Hollinswood community.  Watching your boys grow up and interacting with Ray in various community activities.  It was a good time in our lives and we enjoyed our times together. May God comfort you and ease your suffering during this difficult time.

I am so sad to hear of Mr Lowman's passing. I can't pass the K of C hall without thinking of him...usually cooking for whatever event was planned, joke ready to be told. Our family's are forever connected through our parents, through our brothers, through our shared Catonsville raising. I hope you all will call on us when needed. You are all in my prayers...my heart is heavy...

 I have been told that my parents did not want a eulogy.  Since the early morning hours of Sunday, I have been trying to fulfill my parents wishes.  The hardest was not allowing Dad to be kept alive by artificial means. I need people to know a bit about Dad.  My Dad was a very strong willed person not afraid to share his views, which is a trait he passed on to me.  He passed a lot of other lessons on to me.  Work hard and prepare for your future. Respect people and do for others, all of which he did. For 38 years he worked for the Rouse Company.  He volunteered with vigor for the Knights of Columbus.  Many years ago he was one of 5 fathers that formed the Catonsville Youth Soccer League which has seen literally thousands of kids rise through the program.  My Dad and I butted heads more than once, but all sons and fathers do.  I choose to forget all that and share the good times.  Growing up, Christmas was one of his favorite times, never forgetting the reason for the season, there was always something special just from Dad often not approved in advance by Mom or sometimes not in the budget but he loved to surprise us.  Even as an adult he would say "Get that package over there its from me."  Like at Kristi's wedding shower, I was told that the very nice soup pot with the copper bottom was from him to me for making crab soup. Yes folks I have the secret recipe that can't be shared.  Vacations to the beach came every year.  Generally the first morning included stopping by the Ole Pro mini golf and buying a week long pass so golf could be played throughout the week. Dad was a proud dad and grand father, It took me a while to figure him out but eventually I did. He could always be seen around town wearing a hat or other apparel from Lycoming, St Johns, University of MD, The Secret Service, NSA or he could be heard talking about his grandson directing traffic with the Baltimore County Police Explorers for a parade.  He did all of this so people would ask him why he had a certain hat etc. so he could take the chance to bring up the family and brag for a moment. 
 Ever since my Mom had her stroke I saw a side of my Dad that makes me the proudest.  From day 1, he did nothing but worry about Mom wanting only the best care for her, eventually becoming her 24 hour a day care provider. Hopefully I can be a good example for my boys too.

The Brady's are very saddened to have lost a dear friend. We find peace in that he has joined others. His family is strong in faith and we are priveleged to be a part of their lives.

Mrs. Lowman, my family and I love you and Mr. Lowman. I will really miss Mr. L, his stories and our talks. He holds a special place in my heart and I am that much luckier to have known him. love carol, allen, morgan, and tyler
