She was born in Williamsport on February 7, 1923 to Oran and Mae Pfleegor.
Frances graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1940 as Valedictorian. She later went to work for the School of Hope from 1967-1993.
While living in Williamsport, Frances was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and later First Presbyterian Church.
Frances is survived by her loving children, Nancy M. Lechner and husband David, Ellen I. McCoy, and Richard C. McCoy and wife Ellen; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack E. McCoy; and brother, Thomas O. Pfleegor.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 21 from 11AM-12PM at Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, PA 17702; where a funeral service will follow at 12PM. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
