Arthur J. Walsh Jr.
January 31, 1945 – September 21, 2025
Arthur J. Walsh Jr., 80, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, to the late Arthur and Rita Walsh, Arthur grew up with strong values that guided him throughout his life. He attended Malden Catholic High School, where he excelled academically and developed a lifelong love of learning. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Merrimack College, and later received a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. Arthur remained proud of his educational journey, which laid the foundation for a long and successful career.
He spent his professional life with Stone & Webster Engineering, where he was known for his integrity, dedication, and strong leadership.
Arthur was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Walsh; his children, Arthur Walsh, Lisa Crotty, and Sean Walsh; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Kylie, Alaina, Liam, and Grace — all of whom brought him immeasurable joy.
He cherished life’s simple pleasures: a calm day out fishing, exploring his family’s roots through genealogy, 4-wheeling on mountain trails, and taking family road trips across the country. He also gave back to his community through his volunteer work with Nourish Meals on Wheels. Arthur will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unmistakably sarcastic sense of humor that kept those around him laughing — and sometimes guessing.
A funeral Mass to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. MDT on October 15, 2025, information below. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Live stream for those unable to attend- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdNs8HEYm2o
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Cabrini’s Cupboard (the parish’s food pantry ministry) at https://cabrini.multiscreensite.com/cabrinicupboard or Nourish Meals on Wheels at https://www.nourishmealsonwheels.org/, in honor of Arthur’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
Arthur J. Walsh Jr. will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
