Bernice Irene Bruce passed away on October 13, 2023. Bernice was born on October 18, 1930 in Garden Grove, IA to Marjorie & Vern Shutt. She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Mervin Bruce & beloved son David.
Bernice graduated from North High School in Denver in 1948. She worked for Georgia Pacific for 24 years before her retirement. She was quite the seamstress & crafter & made beautiful crochet blankets & cross-stitch pictures that the family will always cherish. Those that knew her will remember her beautiful smile & great sense of humor. Her family was the most important thing in her life & she loved her children more than anything in the world.
Bernice leaves behind sons Stanley Bruce (Larese), Robert Bruce (Dana) and daughter Becky Sue Rajan. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
