Carmen was born in Mora, New Mexico, November 16, 1926. Mora is where she met her husband, he saw her and told his brother that someday he would marry that girl, and on February 21, 1944, they were married. After working and moving around New Mexico and Colorado they settled in Littleton, Colorado. In 1963 they bought a house on Orchard Rd which became the family home where they raised their 8 children and later welcomed grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She enjoyed planting flowers in the yard, growing indoor plants, she had a green thumb and could make anything grow, her other hobbies later in life were coloring, doing puzzles, and embroidery. People who met her took and instant liking to her, she was friendly and loving, the friends of her children called her mom.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Andy Trujillo, her son Sam Trujillo, and her granddaughter Olivia Trujillo.
She is survived by her 7 children, Fred (Bobbie) Trujillo, Floyd (Valerie) Trujillo, Ray (Francine) Trujillo, Ceci (Bob) Wright, Ann (Mike) Read, Lisa Lambert, and Paul Trujillo.
She leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren
She was greatly loved and will be missed.
