Donna graduated Lyons High School in 1958 and Emporia State Teachers College in 1962. Donna went on to become a Business Teacher in Jefferson County Public Schools in Lakewood, Colorado. She retired from Alameda Senior High School.
Donna loved to travel, her machine needlework was outstanding and her garden and fruit trees were cared for meticulously. Perhaps the loves of her life were her Keeshond dogs.
Donna’s closest friends were Nancy Burrows and Carol and Mike Brisnehan who gave her love and support in her later years.
Donna was a longtime member of JCRSEA (Jefferson County Retired School Employees Association). She will be greatly missed by her friends of “The Moose Hill Gang”.
Donna passed on July 17, 2024 in Lakewood, Colorado.
