Retired Colonel USAF Earle R Wolff, 96, born August 9,1924, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Earle was a WWII, Korean and Vietnam war veteran, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. Born in Denver Colorado to Harry E Wolff and Patricia A Wolff. Married Verna Mae Jensen in 1950 and had 4 children. Enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942, remained in the Air Force side when the Army and Air Force became 2 separate services. Trained and became B24 pilot. Served his country until retiring in 1973. Remembered for his sense of humor, wisdom, compassion and dedication to family, Earle will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children: Diana Wolff, Steve Wolff, Nanette Hamm and Ellyn Wolff, his 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, his brother Dr. James Wolff and sister Jane Hickock. Earle achieved many honors and awards during his long military career and was proud to serve his country.
