She married Mark Stanton and they had three children: Diana Gray, Michial (Vivian) Stanton and Sheila (Vince) Turner. She is also survived by her grandchildren Todd (Lisa) Gray, Rhonda (Mark) Hammond, Mark Stanton, Michelle Pierson, Brad (Hillary) Turner and Stephanie (Aaron) Zimmerman; 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Jo Ann (Dwight) Mettlan.
A Celebration of Ellen's life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2:00PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary in Centennial, Colorado, with inurnment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Association www.cff.org.
