

Eva was born in Lovilia, Iowa on January 27, 1923 to Fred and Anna Radosevich. She was their fourth child of 9 children. As a child of a coal miner she and her family lived in several small towns until they settled in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from St. Joseph Academy she worked with her dad at the Des Moines Ordnance Plant during World War II.
It was soon after the war that she met the love of her life Charles Vranich, Sr. at Lake Robbins Ballroom in Woodward, IA. They were married on April 26, 1947 in Des Moines and raised four children.
In March of 1968, Eva and Charlie moved to Littleton, Colorado. After moving to Littleton they made many friends, were actively involved with The Optimists Club and the Littleton Elks. It was then that Eva learned to play bridge. She continued to avidly play Bridge throughout her life.
Upon Charlie’s retirement, they traveled extensively in the U.S, visiting family and friends. Their travels took them to Iowa, New Mexico, California, Oregon, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Arizona. She and Charlie embraced their Croatian heritage and their love for Tamburitza music and shared it with their children. They also traveled to wherever the Croatian Extravaganza’s were: Kansas City, Pittsburg, New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Las Vegas along with the Slavic music festival in Phoenix, Arizona.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband Charles of 59 years. She is survived by her four children: Charles (Jeana) Vranich, Davidson, NC, Dolores (Dennis) Gallagher, Albuquerque, NM, Richard Vranich, Huntington Beach, CA, Dennis (Gloria) Vranich, Boise, ID. She is also survived by her sister Delores (Richard) Gioffredi, Muskogee, OK, as well as seven wonderful grand children and their spouses: Mike (Melanie) Gallagher, Erin (Ryan) Sanden, Nicholas Gallagher, Devin (Katie) Vranich, Andy Vranich, Chelsea (Brock) Nisson, Ryan Vranich and three adorable great-grandchildren: Christopher Nisson, Daniela Gallagher, and Vivian Nisson, along with many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 9 at Olinger’s Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 10 at St. Mary’s Church, 6853 S. Prince St., Littleton, CO 80120. Internment to follow at Fort Logan Military Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
Reception for family and friends to follow at Littleton Elks Lodge, 5749 S. Curtice St., Littleton, CO 80120.
