Mr. John Zwier Jr.

It’s with heavy hearts we share the passing of our beloved John Zwier Jr. He set off into a heavenly Colorado sunset on Wednesday, September 27th after a battle with liver disease. He is survived by his devoted wife Roseann, his most cherished daughter and son-in-law Jerri Lynne (Skip) Jackson, daughter Kim (Ken) Greene, Step-daughter and son-in-law Angelina (Jeffrey) Jakuboski, grandchildren: Brandy (Mark) Ensign, DJ (Megan) Jackson, Travis Jackson (Emily Dahl), Sydney Harskjold, Thunder Cowan, Kayla Jakuboski, River Cowan, Julia Jakuboski, Sophia Jakuboski, and great-grandchildren: Dax and Greyson Jackson. He is also survived by his sister Beverly Boyd and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents John and Alice Zwier, twin baby sister who passed at birth, stepson Nathaan Harskjold, and Brother-in-law Doyn Boyd.

He was a loving family man who delighted in holiday gatherings and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the Rocky Mountain Long Ears Association and was a member of the Arapahoe County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse for 10 years. He was quick to share a laugh and even quicker to lend a helping hand. His family will have memories of a life well lived.

A visitation for John will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2556 - Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A reception will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, at 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
