Julie Ann Brooks, age 55, of Conifer, Colorado passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Julie was born November 22, 1966. Julie spent the last two years of her life battling pancreatic cancer, the same disease that her father died from.
Julie attended Colorado State University and Emily Griffith Nursing School. She touched many lives throughout her career, working in home health care, hospice, and as a mental health nurse. Julie was a woman of many different hats, she was a devoted wife, sister and stepmom. She enjoyed playing piano, traveling and reading.
She is survived by her husband; David Johnson, stepson; Mitchell Johnson and her sister; Laura Brooks. She is preceded in death by Larry Brooks, Leah Brooks and Eric Brooks. Julie will be dearly missed by her family, friends and co workers.
Services will be held February 22nd at 2PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. Donations can be made to Pancreatic Research fund.
