

Marguerite was born on March 3, 1929 in Denver, Colorado to Earl and Marie Dickson. She was a graduate of Denver University. She worked many jobs including the Phone Company as an operator and she retired from the United States Air Force Accounting and Finance Center at Lowry AFB. On September 9, 1951 she was married to Richard Francis Young. They raised 3 children, Sharon, Ernie and Timothy.
Marguerite was a very creative person. She knitted, crocheted, sewed clothing, made crafts, and quilted. In addition, she painted porcelain dolls and made their clothing. She had an extensive doll collection. Holidays were important to her. At Easter and Christmas, she hosted family gatherings and made some little craft for each place setting.
Marguerite was faithful to the Lord and attended Woodside Baptist church. The congregation there were her second family.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Marie, her husband Richard, her son Ernie, and her brother Earl. She is survived by her brother Dale, daughter Sharon, and son Timothy; grandchildren Kyle, Elizabeth, Heather, Andy, Ian, and Brooklyn; great-grandchildren Liam, Oliver, Ava, Hunter, Mark, Elliot, Lilly, Avery, Briar, Isabella, Anastasia, Elizabeth, Alexis, and newborn Zoe.
