Margie or Marge, as she was known to all her friends, passed away at her home in Fallbrook, CA at the age of 91 on April 6, 2023. Born and raised in Denver Colorado, Margie attended South High School, where she met the love of her life, Lewis Veatch. They were married for 53 years before his passing in 2006. As a stay-at-home mom, she raised 3 children, (Mona, Lori & Randy) and did volunteer work at Denver’s Hope Center as well as other charitable organizations. She supported her husband as he advanced in his career, and they enjoyed the many incredible travel opportunities they were afforded. In her 50’s, after a 30-year hiatus, she reentered the work force and was employed by a life insurance company for several years. In 1999 Marge and Lew retired to Fallbrook, CA. where they both loved living in the gorgeous hills near the beaches of Oceanside.
Kind, caring and giving to all she met, Marge deeply loved all her extended family and her many lifelong friends. The love that she gave deeply touched one and all. Margie will be missed by too many to mention.
