Mark was born in Denver, Colorado, and had three siblings: one sister and two brothers. In 1980, he married his high school sweetheart, Jane. Together, they had two sons, Greg and Doug, whom he deeply loved and of whom he was immensely proud. The family enjoyed many special times together, frequently supporting Greg and Doug at their sporting events and creating lasting memories through numerous family vacations, including ski trips, camping, boating, and exploring national parks.
Mark worked as a Master Automotive Repair Technician, starting in his brother’s shop before owning his own foreign car repair business, Mark’s Metric Motors. After selling the business, he continued his career in outside sales at Zep Manufacturing and later at Varsity Distributing.
In 2021, Mark retired to fulfill his dream of becoming a snowbird, spending much of his time at his new home in Lago Vista, TX. He cherished lake life, valued his new friendships, enjoyed boating on Lake Travis, and spent many hours exploring the rural Hill Country community by golf cart. Lago Vista truly was Mark’s happy place.
A beloved husband and father, his memory will always remain close in our hearts.
