I worked with Mary a long time ago.  When I picture her, I see that warm smile that lit up the room and welcomed everyone!  My condolences on her passing!

My condolences to Mary's family.  She was such a good friend for over 35 years and I was so glad to have visited with her in August with my children.  May you rest in peace in heaven.

What an inspiration to all of us!  You are a perfect model of what it means to live the Christian life.  The world is a better place because of all you did, Mary, for the poor, the lonely, the homeless.  And you did so much to make our world more peaceful and just. Blessed are the peacemakers. Mary inspired so many of us to work towards peace, justice and putting faith into action. She  has been a leader in our community, a tireless worker,  a generous friend. She will be missed here and welcomed warmly in heaven.

Thank you for your gracious and courageous leadership of Pax Christi Denver.. I'm sorry that I was involved only tangentially.  Your peacefulness shared was a gift to many.  Your funeral Mass of New Life will be tomorrow.......I remember a Mass in which we shared at Notre Dame so many years ago.   The Lord is with you and you continue to be with the Lord.

My Dear Mary, I never got to have lunch with you this summer. You were on my mind and could not find a phone number to call you. Finally, I saw you at the beginning of this summer at Francis Heights where you were meeting William Watts. You gave me your number and I called but you were out of town. Then, I never got to see you again. You were on my mind so much and I am glad I had a chance to see you at least for a few minutes. Sening you prayers and know that Ceci was waiting for you. Mary has been part of this recent Nobel Peace Price in so many ways, and part of the encouragement, support, and joyous courage that will have us always honoring her life and name.    I never met her personally, but talked on the phone, exchanged many emails.   In 2012-13 Mary sent me photographs of her team keeping vigil out at N-8, for my documentary.   She is credited in that work and thanked for her support.   
She was so sincere in requesting all the info on Dan Berrigan's funeral here in NYC, the program, the readings, the music. 
  Mary's young neice, Maureen Hartwell, was in my work Good Thinking.   She called her "Aunt Sissy" and that's oft how she signed off, and called me Cousin.    Such comradie, I miss already.  
  She was an early signer of a petition I put up on nuclear weapons, and then most recently I got an enthusiastic email that she was driving around Sr. Ardeth, and Sr. Carol to the military bases and silos as they hand delivered the recent Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, two who I sat with for over a month at the UN during the Treaty this past June, July. 
   Such a joy, and such a small intimate world.   These two great souls now being sheparded around by Mary..... going to where 15 years earlier they were together in actions against these weapons.   
 Mary.... forever in your debt, forever thank you.   For your loving, positive support and joy.    Always part of bringing the truth to light, and this cause toward fruition.    Blessings on your journeys now.  Onward, together.    love, "Cousin" Anthony

Mary was an amazing colleague who was kind, caring and gentle. May she rest in peace. All my prayers.

The peace and justice community of Denver (and the world) has lost a fierce advocate. Mary has been an amazing leader and peacemaker for so many years on so many issues. She will be remembered with much love and gratitude for her courage and vision.

There are no words that could express my heavy heart at the loss of our Pax Christi leader, Mary Casper...a gracious, kind, devoted, self-sacrificing woman!

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Mary. She was a devoted incredible leader who positively impacted countless lives. I appreciated her thoughtfulness, integrity, wisdom, and smile. May her soul be elevated. Prayers to all.
