Michael Flanagan was born in Denver, Colorado. He was the son of Russell and Maudie Flanagan. He was married for 27 years to his wife, Catherine Flanagan. They were married on March 24, 1984. Together they had one beautiful son, Shawn Flanagan.
Mike knew how to live life and he also loved the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed all the adventures spent with his friends. More importantly he loved watching his son grow through the years, doing karate and soccer. Mike expressed several times how proud he was of the man that Shawn had become.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Flanagan; son, Shawn Flanagan; parents, Russell and Maudie Flanagan; sister, Sandy (Edward) Nissen and Brother, Rusty Flanagan.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 15th, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary.
