

Born on August 9th, 1954, to the late Dolores Garcia / Montoya and Joseph Rios in Buell Township, Michigan, Ozzie met Nancy, his wife of 53 years, in Peck, Michigan, on 1978, they moved to Denver, Colorado.
Ozzie worked as a plumber's apprentice, becoming a skilled tradesman involved in the construction of landmarks such as Coors Field and Denver International Airport.
He became a business owner and an accomplished songwriter with publishing credits. Ozzie's hobbies and passions included playing the guitar, writing/singing, loving the Beatles, and collecting Beatles memorabilia. Ozzie idolized his older uncles (Rick & Robert, Joe, Larry Garcia).
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Jerry Rios, Crystal (Marc) Arnold, Sabraina Rios, and John Lennon (Nanette) Rios; his 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as sisters Sylvia, Lucy, Josie, Betty and Lisa, and his brother Bill.
Ozzie is preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Garcia/Montoya; father, Joseph Rios; brothers Robert and Joseph Rios; and his daughter, Renee Rios.
A private celebration of life will be held at Mount Lindo, where he may rest in peace alongside his beloved family and friends.
Ozzie will be missed by all.
