Ronald Floyd Ashlock Sr. was born Nov 23, 1920
to Walter Floyd Ashlock and Malisa Olar (Smith) Ashlock
in Calhan, Colorado. Ronald passed away at 101 years of
age on Monday, January 31, 2022.
Ronald joined the Army in 1941 as an aircraft woodworker.
He received an honorable discharge in 1943. Ronald married
Loretta Delores (Helms) Ashlock October 26,1952.
Ronald was employed as management for Sears Roebuck &
Company until he retired in 1976.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years
Loretta Delores (Helms) Ashlock, Ronald Floyd Ashlock Jr.
And his grandson Zachary Ashlock.
Ronald is survived by Martin Ashlock (Linda)
Justin, Melanie, Shawn, Scott
Eileen Allison – Darren, Damon
Denise Clapp (Larry) – Shannon, Andrea
Walter Ashlock (Debra)
Sharon Anthis (Clint) – Bethney
Numerous great grand children, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
Ronald enjoyed the outdoors. He walked thousands
of miles between his retirement and his death. He
loved to garden; both flowers and vegetables. He was
very involved in the Masons. His favorite charity was
Operation Smiles, over the years he was able to help
hundreds of children. He loved getting before and after
pictures.
