Sam’s career of 52 years in the healthcare field was his passion as he applied his administrative and financial skills in service to others. He was an active member in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) of Colorado for many years, as well as being a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
He served on a number of church and ministry boards and enjoyed teaching at a local university. Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Mildred (Webster) Radke, and his brother, Daniel Radke. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sharon, of 53 years; sons Sean (Gretchen) Radke and Shelby (Stephanie) Radke; and granddaughters, Teagan and Holly Radke. Sam is also survived by his four sisters, Marjorie Radke, Carol (Steve) Kejr, Alice Hilmoe, and Joy (Terry) Ewers.
A memorial service was held on April 8, 2025, at Rockland Community Church in Golden, CO, with interment on April 12, 2025, at Mt. Lindo Cemetery.
Sam will be forever remembered and loved by his family and friends as a man of faith who finished well.
