Scott was born December 4, 1990 in Manhasset, NY to Sherm and Marcy Gardner. He was an energetic and lively child, the youngest of 5 siblings. He was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He attended Sousa Elementary in Port Washington, NY until the family moved to Plano, TX when he was 7. He attended Brinker Elementary until the family moved to Parker, CO when he was 11. Scott attended Sierra Middle School and Chaparral High School. Scott was on the debate team and achieved Eagle Scout rank. He graduated from Sorenson’s Ranch School in Utah. After high school, Scott attended Brigham Young University.
Scott dreamed big and his life’s passion was other people. He had a lot of style, which showed in his hair, clothes, and watches. He worked in retail and door-to-door sales, which he loved because he had a big personality and made friends easily.
Scott is survived by his parents, Sherman and Marcy Gardner, siblings Anne (Cameron) Wood, Kimberly Gardner, Brian Gardner, and Russell Gardner, his nephew Andrew Wood, and his nieces Kate and Samantha Wood.
Services will be held Saturday, December 8th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 11755 Tara Lane, Parker, CO. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services provided by Olinger Funeral Home in Centennial, CO; Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, CO.
Pallbearers are Brian Gardner, Russell Gardner, Cameron Wood, Robert Carpenter, Peter Carpenter, and Matthew Gardner.
Scottie will be missed every day by all who knew and loved him.
