

Born in Stewart Mississippi, March 1 1938, her family moved to Pueblo Colorado. There she met Chester Albert Burry at a local dance. They were married July 29 1954. She spent time working at the Train Depot in Pueblo and took a job with the US Postal Service. She, Chester and the family moved to the Grand Junction area where she continued to raise her family. They moved to the Parker area in 1973 and she went back to work shortly thereafter as a custodian with the Douglas County Public School District.
Syble was known as “Ma” to friends and family alike. She valued family and tried to make everyone feel a part of it. She enjoyed dancing, motorcycle riding with Chester and then on her own, camping, though she didn’t fish or hunt, reading, bowling and many crafting activities including knitting and crocheting, sewing and quilting, playing card/dice games and travelling. She made friends wherever she went and had lots of ‘adventures’ with Chester and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Albert Burry and her 2 great grandchildren, Madelyn Ann Bennett and Dominic Michael Allen Burry.
She is survived by her four children, Chester Allen (Jennifer) Burry, Deloris Cuba, Jodie (Doug) Bennett, and Debbie (Darryl Lawrence) Burry and their families. She leaves behind many grandchildren: Shannon Burry, Nathaniel Cuba, Matthew Burry, Michele Burry, Tiffany (Derrick) Norris, Tyrel (Amanda) Bennett, Zachary Lawrence and great grandchildren: Ariston, Haylee and Brycen Norris, Camdyn and Cooper Bennett, Aleena and Maverick Jack Burry, and sister Elaine and family, half-brother James Ague and family, brother in law Lawrence (Carol) Burry and family, sister in law Helen Maldonado and family and sister in law Dorothy Burry and family as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she considered family.
She will be missed and remembered by all.
Services and celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
