Wilbert Allan Draegert was born on July 13, 1933 in Lewisville, Minnesota to Albert Draegert and Lillian McMicken. He graduated from Winnebago High School in Winnebago, Minnesota in 1953. After graduating, Al served his country in the Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Al and Lavonne met at the Mankato Ballroom in Mankato, Minnesota. They were married in Spirit Lake, Iowa on June 12, 1960. The couple moved to Colorado and had their first child, JoLynn, in 1962. Their second daughter, Kerri, was born in 1964.
Al worked on the Titan Missile project at Martin Marietta and then as an electronic technician at Honeywell. He then worked at Columbine Fabricators/Vantage until his retirement.
Al enjoyed visiting his family, racking up many frequent flyer miles in the process! He also enjoyed visiting former work associates, friends and neighbors, and his church friends.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. Funeral service will be held 10:30am Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Shepherd of the Hills, 7691 S. University Blvd, Centennial, CO 80122.
