

Willard "Mac" McFarland passed peacefully on July 26, 2024 in Littleton, CO. He was born October 8, 1935 to Willard Clayton and Valera (Ritter) McFarland in Washington Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
After graduating from Stephen S. Palmer High School, Mac attended Penn State University and later received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College, Easton, PA. He served in the U.S.Army and is a Korean War veteran. His private sector career was in Telecommunications where he pioneered the implementation of electro-static discharge protection measures within equipment manufacturing.
Always active in Christian ministry, Mac has served in various positions on Church committees and boards. He is currently a member of St Andrew United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Telecom Pioneers. Mac will be remembered as a loving family man, a faithful Christian, an athlete, an architecture enthusiast, an avid reader, an animal lover, a scale model builder, and a sports fan. A good joke was always rewarded with a hearty laugh that will be sorely missed.
Mac is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Crowe McFarland, his brother Stanford (Rose), daughters Kelly Lopushansky (Mike), Laurie McFarland (Jared Francis), his two grandchildren, Eric and Claire Lopushansky, two nieces, Cindy Knipe and Kim McGonigle, other cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, or St Andrew United Methodist Church, Highlands Ranch, CO in Mac's name.
