Curt was born in Glens Falls, New York on July 9, 1926. When he was approximately 6 years old he moved to Swarthmore, Pennsylvania until he graduated high school. Curt enlisted in the Navy at 17 and was later assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Suwannee as an aviation radioman with many combat missions in the South Pacific. After his discharge in 1945 he held various position before joining United Airlines in Philadelphia in 1954. He transferred to Denver in 1959 where he met and married Helen. After they were married he adopted her two children, Robert and Richard. In 1964 they became proud parents of a baby girl named Marcy.
Taking early retirement, but still wanting to remain active, Curt joined Colorado National Bankshares in the position of Public Affairs Officer until 1986 at which time he retired from full time work
Curt loved the theater and enjoyed acting. He has had roles in several plays as well as parts in movies, commercials and on radio programs.
He has one surviving brother, Jim and sons Robert and Rick and daughter Marcy. His daughter-in-law Carolyn and son-in-law Bruce. Also the grandchild he thought so much of, Cameron.
