He often shared with all of us that as you get older, you become the front of the line. His turn arrived and he ascended into heaven.
Tee (as he is known to his loving wife) doesn’t deserve a stock obituary. He read them regularly and we all often teased that it was sometimes sad and perhaps a bit morbid.
While we could list all of his accomplishments and accolades, we prefer not. They simply don’t define the man. It is far more suiting to simply acknowledge his heart and soul, his kindness and generosity, his strength of character and his love for his family and friends. He was a husband, dad, pop pop, brother, friend, and confidant. He had a charming warmth and killer sense of humor both of which would light up a room wherever he went. He was a friend to many especially those who needed a friend. He walked in so many pairs of shoes and had empathy and understanding that many of us will never know. He was a fierce protector and he was stubborn as hell. We were blessed that all of our memories, disagreements, and open conversations were settled on the last day. May his passing be a blessing however you may interpret it. May his soul live on forever. May we all embody his spirit. Practice random acts of kindness and live lives of compassion. He did, and we will. Always.
We asked him to let us know when he arrived and, he did. He shared an amazing rainbow with his only son to alert us all to his arrival in heaven. May Timothy rest in peace for eternity and, continue to visit us with his signs.
Timothy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 14 Prospect Street in Essex,
