Edward is survived by his loving wife, Martha, children Linda, Eddie (deceased), and Trevor (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Skyla, Aryanna, and Zoey. Loving brother of Robert (deceased), Barbara, Ronald and his wife Marian.
Edward served in the United States Navy as an aerial photographer. During his service, he developed a love for snorkeling and scuba diving. After receiving an honorable discharge, he began a long career with Sears and Roebuck Stores.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered as a leader for the local Boy Scout troop in support of the young people in the community. Edward also enjoyed woodworking and took pride in his craftsmanship. Among his many projects were handmade wooden tables and a custom-built basement bar, creations that reflected both his skill and creativity.
Edward will be remembered for his service to his country, and the consideration he showed to those who knew him.
A visitation for Edward will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, 3pm to 7pm at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A burial with Military honors will take place on Monday, January 5, 2026, 11:00am at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd Calverton, New York.
