Franklin R. Noon Jr.

Franklin R. Noon Jr., lovingly known as “Frank,” of Centereach, New York, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. Formerly of Montauk and raised in Lindenhurst, Frank lived a life centered around family, friendship, and adventure.

Frank was the beloved husband of the late Ellen Noon and cherished partner of the late Joe Finger. He was a loving and devoted father to Brian Noon and his wife Katie, and a proud and adored grandfather to Owen, Evelyn, and Addison Noon, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was the dear brother of Robert (the late Loretta), Peter (Rhonda), Bill (Diane), Mary DiFronzo (Joe), Nancy Grasso (Chris), Kathy MacGregor (Bob), and Steve, and was predeceased by his sister Susan Noon Heilig. Frank was also a beloved nephew to Dot Vik. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Frank and Aggi Noon.

Frank treasured time spent with his family above all else. He loved traveling and especially enjoyed taking cruises to many beautiful destinations including Norway, Egypt, Spain, Portugal, and Turkey. Yet despite all the places he visited, one of Frank’s favorite places in the world remained Montauk, where he once owned a home and created countless cherished memories hosting family gatherings by the shore.

Frank will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he found simply being surrounded by the people he loved most.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM.
