Hi Dad,I feel like it was yesterday that I loss you,time does not take away the pain of my loss,I look for you to help with my pain,and I knowyou are there with me but the loneliness is overwhemly painfull. As you must know by now My Red has left this earth, he had cancer and could not be treated it was lynphona, like you and Iheld himto the end, then Rocky at the age of 19 left two weeks later. My heart is overcome with pain& loss.please look for them.Getting older without you hurts more than I can expresswith words. I know you can see it all from heaven,and will ask GOD to let me be with you and Kevin soon. Little Tom passed away this week from cancer. Like his dad he was a kind and I was glad I could connect with him for his last few months,like his Dad his concern was for Aunt Carol, and linda and her two girls. He fought the fight but it was not to be.Ifeel every one is leaving and Iam so lonely it hurts.Please know I always will love you and have to say you told me what would happen, and you were right.I still have my pride. I can find solace knowing you are by my side. I hope to see you soon. Your wife and best friend. carol

Hey Uncle Kevin, sorry I'm not much for writing on these things but I miss ya and I miss driving ya nuts. Even the times you caught me were classic. You would have made a great detective. Say hi to my other half, Nan, Pop, Uncle Tom and Aunt Dotty and Cathy and Little Tom (he's new, so show him around will ya.) And anyone else whose name I missed. Keep an eye on Red and Rocky or you can explain to Aunt Carol when she get's up there ;)

Today is the day you left my life It also is the day in 1963 that you came one my stoop, to asked me to go to your prom.I never kept a diary like most girls did at that time, but I found the little piece of paper that I wrote how happy I was that you asked me, because you were kind and I somehow knew we were made to be together.I always felt safe with you. You bought a beautiful engagement ring,which you saved long and Pearl necklace from Japan, also a ankle bracelet with two hearts one said carol and the other. I look back now and it breaks my heart to know that you saved all your pay from the A&P to buy these gift to show me I was wortheverything to you. Please forgive me for not appreciate them I never had any jewelry before and I didn't show you how much I valued them, not because of the gifts but because of the giver,who did and gave of himself to make me happy.You were always proud of me and made me feel special. It took losing you for me to realize what I had, Since Iwas 14 your cared for me and now when Iam lonely or scared about something, I lookfor your safe hug or the sound of your voice and I believe your with me, but my eyes can't see you. I truly not even death can separate me from you. However on one day, soon I hope we will all be together again, as there no solace in my being without you. Happy Fathers Day Dad, you are still loved and missed by the one girl/woman who loved you for the safety you always gave me, knowing you would always be there for me/you still are sometimes I feel your presence and I know its real because true love surpasses time, problems, and yes even death. Only your personal presence is no longer seen. I still feel your watchfulness on me, I was truly lucky and blessed for having you in my life, and look forward to our eternal time together with our son Kevin,jr and all who touched our hearts and lives. dad,iam so sorry for not knowing how sick you wee till it was too late. you know and always knew you were the only man I could ever love. I say man although you were a young guy who made me believe you could take on the whole world when it came to protecting me and the boys. you also took care of your dad when no one knew but me, yes you were truly a maneven at that young age of 18 when they sent you overseas, then came home to marry me in the church we knew as children. your love for me was never second guessed, as well as your love for the boys. I wished we could have gone to Ireland as we wanted too,however no one ever thinks that we will lose the persons we love. I thought we would be like nan&pop.we were in many ways like them we loved each other more than anyone ever could. I want to say although you already know, you were and till the day I come to be with you are the only man in my life.like I always said to you no one could ever fill your shoes, as a husband, father, and son. Dad.  I am sorry we never aligned 100%, I will always think about that and be sad.  However I always loved you and always will that will never change. I will make sure mom is safe and sound until you see her again.
