Paul Edward Bessette, age 69, of Selden, New York passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Younger brother of Donna Petruzzelli. Loving uncle to Pauline, Gina, Donna, Amanda, Leanne, Mauro, Niko, Christopher, and Dakota, as well as great uncle to Julani. Paul now joins his sister Laurie, mother Ethel, father Wilfred, Aunt Eva, brother-in-law Mauro and nephew Richard, who predeceased him, in eternal peace.
Despite his status as a younger brother, Paul was protective over his big sister Donna. He was as helpful as they come, and caring to boot. Paul had a unique sense of humor, and loved the beaches of Long Island where he was born. In his free time, Paul would build little cities that his electric trains would weave around and through. Racing remote control cars with his nephews was also a beloved past-time. Paul's memory lives on within his family; a legacy of love, humor, and trains.
