Janice M. Jeansonne, age 78, of Central passed away on February 8, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Janice was a member of Central Lions Club and Our Lady of Mercy Rosary Group.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Barton Jeansonne Jr. of Central; son Troy Jeansonne (Jennifer) of Fulshear, TX; daughters, Patrice Morse (Melvin) of Ponchatoula, LA and Christine Baker (Donald) of Central; 5 grandchildren, Blaine and Brandon Baker, Hayley and Hannah Jeansonne, and Ashley Morse; brothers, Adrian Plauche (Carolyn) and Gary Plauche (Carol) of Plaucheville, LA.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Bernice of Plaucheville, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17th at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:30 AM to 11AM; with Mass beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church or Alzheimer's Research.
