Susan Davis

Susan Davis of Central, LA went peacefully to her Heavenly Home on November 30, 2024. Born on September 20, 1945, Susan was the daughter of her late parents, George E. Crotty Jr. and Peggy Watson Crotty. Susan leaves her loving daughters, Tammy Davis, Tabitha Davis, Tesha Davis (Chris Engels) and her son Timothy Davis to cherish her memories. She also leaves behind six grandchildren who brought much happiness to her life, Brandon Davis, Deven Azuara (Shelby), Darian Vince (Derek Cook), Alexis Davis (Nick Viola), Tommy Davis, Ayden Fontenot; eleven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Bentleigh, Westen, Brooks, Lainey, Haidyn, Beckham, Banks, Mila, Brensin, baby girl due in March; and one great-great-grandchild Carter. She is also survived by a niece Falynn Jolissaint (Matt) and nephew Mark Crotty. Susan is preceded in death by two sons, Paul Lloyd Davis and Rodney Shane Davis and a brother George Crotty III. Susan devoted her life to the love and care of children. She worked with children for over 30 years. She touched the lives in many and made a difference in others including her own children she raised as a single mother. She was always there for the child that needed an extra hug or a little more encouragement. The family would like to recognize St. Joseph Hospice for their exceptional level of care and support during an otherwise difficult time. Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA on Friday, December 6, 2024. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family request donation to be made to the St. Jude Foundation.
