Linda Marie Myers

Linda Marie Myers, 75, of Packwood, Washington, passed away March 26, 2023 at Arbor Health Morton Hospital. On November 29, 1947 Linda was born to Max Gehring and Margarite Manigold in Battle Creek, Michigan. She grew up with three siblings, Larry, Mark, and Melanie Gehring.

January 28, 1966 Linda Married Ronald Myers in Walla Walla, Washington. In June of 1967 Linda graduated from Walla Walla High School. She and Ron shared 57 years of marriage and two children, Ronald and Matthew Myers.

Linda spent 52 years at her home in Packwood, Washington with Ron. She worked in the US Forest Service for almost two years, then Bob’s Trading Post for two years until it burned in the 1982 fire in Packwood. Her primary occupation title was a medical receptionist, she worked in Dr. Stanley’s practice in Packwood for 15 years.

Preceded in death by her father, Max Gehring; mother, Margarite Gehring; and her brother, Larry Gehring.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Myers; sons, Ronald and Matthew Myers; sister, Melanie Gehring; brother, Mark Gehring; three grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

Linda dedicated her life to her boys and her husband, they were her joy. She took pride in her family. A wonderful spouse and mother, Linda is loved and dearly missed. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brown Mortuary Service, Morton.
