Carrie Buford Worrell

Carrie Worrell, age 90, of Centreville entered into rest on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Hospice of West Alabama. She is survived by three sons, Gerald Worrell of Middletown, Ohio; Bobby Worrell (Becky) of Hazel Green, Alabama; and Don Worrell (Laura) of Lincoln, Alabama; three daughters, Sara Hughey of Tuscaloosa; Mary Wooley (Don) of Miami, Florida; and Kay Wangler of Centreville; two brothers, Bud Buford of Centreville; and Hartley Buford of Austin, Texas; three special grandchildren, Trent Tidmore, Kamden Buford, and Jace Buford; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Worrell; sister, Joyce Herring; granddaughter, Sonya Courtney; and grandson, Russell Worrell. Pallbearers will be Jim Buford, Gary Smitherman, Blaine Rehak, Rick Wangler, Nathan Worrell, and Tony Smith. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Rockco Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert Franks officiating and Rockco Funeral Home-Centreville directing. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery immediately following the service.
