Clara Mae Anderson

You could find her spending time in her garden tending to her flowers and vegetables. She loved her cats and all the neighborhood animals. She attended Bible Methodist Church in Brent, and she loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lillie Holifield; husband, Sidney Anderson; sisters, Emma Holifield and Annie Holifield; and brother, Olan Holifield.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Louise Fleming (James); daughter by love, Kelly Sue Fondren (Anthony); sons, Robert Lee and Sidney J. Anderson; sister, Ruth Holifield; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Clara will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

Clara will be laid to rest in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, County Road 16, Perry County, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be James Fleming, James Fleming Jr., Jeffrey Fleming, David Anderson, Donald Anderson, and Anthony Fondren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mac Langston and Shelby Mitchell.
