Mrs. Doris Stone Lamb, age 70, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Monday August 19, 2019. Doris was born July 1, 1949 in River Bend AL. She was a loving wife and homemaker. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years Charles Lamb Jr.; her parents, William & Velma Stone; brothers, Joseph, Jimmy, Dee, Jerry & Roy Stone; sister, Gladys Binion and her beloved puppy Copper.
She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Driver (Tim); son, David Lamb (Tracy); sister, Alice Nichols (Gerald); brother, Jody Stone (Dot); 2 grandchildren, Kyle Driver & Josh Driver; Numerous Nieces & nephews that adored her and her beloved grandpuppies Jax & Negan.
Doris loved fishing, cooking, gardening, playing games like Aggravation & UNO and will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Doris will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Schultz Creek Baptist Church, Schultz Spring Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM with burial in Schultz Creek Cemetery. Bro. David Lamb and Rev. Allen Foster will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Dennis Nichols, Matthew Nichols, Kyle Driver, Charles Bright, Kevin Foster and Jason Foster. Honorary Pallbearers are Amedysis Home Health, Hospice of West Alabama, Karlee Johnson CNRP
