

Janet Fay Bright Hoyt, age 61, of Centreville, Alabama, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 15, 2025. A woman of faith, Janet lived her life in loving service to others, caring deeply for her family and sharing joy through her playful spirit and generous heart. She expressed her love in countless ways, especially through the meals she lovingly prepared and the care she freely gave.
Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Hoyt; her parents, James "Jim" and Betty Bright; and her brothers, Scottie Bright and Lacy Bright.
She is survived by her brother, Jimmy (Cindy) Bright; her sisters, Brenda (Rick) Wilson, Carol Hathcock, Mellisa (Hank) Wilson, and Betty (Dwight) Wyers; her sister-in-law, Pam Bright and Carol Jo Bright; and a host of nieces and nephews who were greatly cherished.
Janet's family finds comfort in the promise of God's Word: "Well done, good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your Lord" (Matthew 25:23). Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with family, and resting in the presence of her Savior.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Eoline, AL with Shannen Allen and Nathanael Bright presiding.
Pallbearers are Cody Manderson, Cole Manderson, Dusty Breland, Jaden Hathcock, Joseph Jones, and Jason Bright.
